Which plan should I pick?
Start with the subscription. It is the smallest amount you can put down, and the yearly option is the cheapest way to run Pausr month after month. Buy it outright only if you already know you want it for years: past roughly two years, the one-time price wins.
I have uninstalled every break app I ever tried. Why would this one survive?
Because that is the exact person Pausr was designed for. Every break is announced 30 seconds ahead, so nothing lands mid-sentence. Meetings, calls, screen shares and fullscreen games hold it back automatically. It never locks your machine, and two Esc presses skip any break. The apps you uninstalled treated your work as the problem. Pausr treats it as the thing worth protecting.
Can I try Pausr before paying?
Yes, and you do not need this page for it. Download Pausr and it runs fully unlocked for 7 days on your Mac: every feature, no card, no account. On day 7 it locks onto its purchase screen and waits there. The countdown is stored on your Mac and stays with it, so reinstalling does not hand out a second week. Buying from this page, on the other hand, charges you straight away and unlocks the app for good.
How do I cancel, and what happens then?
Go to the license page, enter your checkout email, and we send you a private link to your billing page where cancelling takes one click. Pausr then keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, and goes back to locked after that. Coming back later is just as simple: subscribe again and a fresh license key lands in your inbox right away.
Does the lifetime plan really mean forever?
Yes. One payment, every feature and every future update, with no second bill ever. It is a licence for the app as it grows, not a snapshot of today's version.
How many Macs can I use it on?
Every plan covers 1 Mac, and a license stays with that Mac. Team licenses, for equipping several people at once, are coming later.
What is the refund policy?
There is no money-back window, on either plan, and that is deliberate: the app runs free for 7 days on your Mac before you pay a cent, which is where you decide whether Pausr is for you. A subscription can be cancelled in one click at any time and runs to the end of the period you paid for. None of this touches your legal guarantees, which are set out in our terms of sale. And if something is actually broken, write to support@pausr.io: a human answers, and we sort it out.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes. Every payment, subscription or one-time, comes with a real invoice: enter your email on the license page and we send you a private link to your billing page, invoices included. Buying for a company? Tick the business box at checkout and your company name and VAT number appear on the invoice.
