These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of a Pausr license through this website. By completing a purchase, you accept them in full. Please read them before you buy.
1. Seller
Pausr is published and sold by OBAM CORP, EURL, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 930 292 438, VAT number FR19930292438, registered office Being finalized. Contact: support@pausr.io. Full company details appear in our Legal notice.
2. Product
Pausr is a downloadable application for macOS that reminds you to take breaks (eyes, standing, long breaks), holds them back during meetings and full-screen use, and keeps local screen-time statistics. It runs entirely on your Mac, with no account. System requirements and the current version are shown on the download page.
3. Plans and prices
Pausr is offered as a subscription (monthly or yearly) and as a one-time lifetime license. Each plan covers one Mac. The application may be used free of charge for 7 days from its first launch on a given Mac, without any purchase and without entering payment details; at the end of that period the application locks until a license is bought. Prices are shown in your local currency on the pricing page, all taxes included; the applicable VAT depends on your country and is shown at checkout. Business customers can enter a valid VAT number at checkout, so reverse charge applies where relevant.
4. Order and delivery
Your order is confirmed once payment is accepted. Delivery is immediate and digital: your license key and download link are shown on the confirmation page and sent to the email address used at checkout. Keep that email: it is how you recover your key and, for a subscription, manage or cancel your plan.
5. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Payment is due in full when you place your order, on every plan: a subscription is charged on the day you subscribe, then renews automatically each period until you cancel, and the lifetime license is charged once.
6. Right of withdrawal and its waiver
Under article L.221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, there is no right of withdrawal for digital content supplied without a physical medium once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that the right is thereby lost. Because Pausr is delivered immediately, by ticking the box at checkout you expressly ask for immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the download link and license key are delivered.
7. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from the license page: enter your checkout email and we send a private link to your billing portal, where cancelling takes one click. Cancelling stops the next payment; Pausr keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
8. License of use
Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pausr on one Mac, for the duration of your subscription or, for the lifetime plan, without time limit. You may not resell, rent, sublicense or share your license key. The Pausr software and brand remain the property of OBAM CORP.
9. Legal guarantees
You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code). To exercise them, write to support@pausr.io.
10. Liability
Pausr is a well-being and productivity aid, not a medical device and not medical advice. We provide the app with reasonable care but cannot guarantee it runs without interruption or error. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
11. Personal data
We process only the data needed to deliver your license and support you, as described in our Privacy Policy, reachable from the footer of every page. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. Any question or complaint should first be sent to support@pausr.io; we aim to resolve it directly. Failing that, you may refer the matter to a consumer mediator (see our Legal notice) and, in any case, use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Absent an amicable solution, the courts designated by law have jurisdiction.
